Help us remember our friend and colleague
As you will know, the Glasgow Labour Family recently said farewell to our friend and colleague, Councillor John Kelly.
John was a feature of Glasgow Labour politics for many years, as a proud Trade Union campaigner and as a Councillor that always put the communities he represented first. His loss has been met with sadness from across the political divide and in the community.
John was a friend to many in the city and he was a close friend of mine, as well as my election agent. His loss is heart-breaking, but through our loss, we will remember him and his efforts for the Labour movement with pride.
It is fitting that we pay tribute to him and allow his constituents to remember him.
Glasgow members are coming together in John's ward on Saturday morning to deliver a short note around the community that pays tribute to his work and lets local residents know how to contact John's ward colleagues, Councillor Cameron and Councillor Rooney, should they need any assistance. I hope you will come along so that together we can, in this small way, pay tribute to his legacy.
If you are able to come along, please fill in your details below.
